Rate cards per vehicle group with daily, weekly and monthly rates and start and end dates for each season. NordFleet picks the rate card for the pickup date, adds extras and VAT, and locks the price when the rental starts.
Stop leaving money on the table
Manual pricing is error-prone. Staff work out rates on paper, forget to charge for extras, or quote August prices in November. You either overcharge and lose trust, or undercharge and lose revenue.
NordFleet prices every booking from your rate cards: the card valid on the pickup date sets the rate, extras are added per day or as a flat fee, and your VAT rate is applied on top. Quotes for your website also switch to the weekly rate from 7 days and the monthly rate from 30 days.
How the pricing engine works
Daily, Weekly and Monthly Rates
Set a daily rate for each vehicle group, plus optional weekly and monthly rates. Website quotes use the weekly rate from 7 days and the monthly rate from 30 days, and at the counter the daily rate is filled in for your staff to adjust.
Seasonal Rate Cards
Give each rate card a start and end date for high, shoulder and low season. The rate valid on the pickup date prices the whole rental, and dated rates take priority over your year-round rate.
Extras & Add-Ons
Child seats, GPS units, additional drivers or delivery, each priced per day or as a flat fee, with its own setting for whether tax applies.
Discounts and Overrides
Apply a fixed discount with a reason, or override the daily rate on a single reservation or rental for a special deal, without touching your rate cards.
VAT on Every Rental
Set your VAT rate once in settings. It applies to the rental, taxable extras and return charges, and you can override it on an individual rental.
Rates Locked at Handover
When a rental starts, its daily rate is stored on the rental, so later changes to your rate cards never change an existing contract.
Pricing questions
Does NordFleet support dynamic pricing?
Not automatic, demand-based pricing. NordFleet uses seasonal rate cards that you control: you decide the rates for each period, and both the counter and your website price from the card valid on the pickup date.
What happens to existing bookings when I change my rates?
Rentals keep the daily rate stored when they started, so a contract never changes. Reservations made in the dashboard keep the daily rate they were booked with, and staff can check and adjust the rate when they start the rental.
How are partial days charged?
Rental length is counted in days, and any part of a day counts as a full day. A rental of 26 hours is charged as two days.
