How the pricing engine works
Four Rate Tiers
Set hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly rates per vehicle group. The engine picks the cheapest valid combination for any duration.
Best-Rate Auto-Selection
A 6-day rental? The engine compares 6×daily vs 1×weekly and picks the lower price. A 25-day booking? It evaluates monthly vs weekly+daily combinations.
Extras & Add-Ons
GPS devices, child seats, additional drivers, insurance upgrades — each priced per-day or as a flat fee. Added to the booking total automatically.
Discount Support
Apply percentage or fixed-amount discounts to any booking. Corporate rates, loyalty discounts, seasonal promotions — all supported.
Tax Calculation
Configure your tax rate once in tenant settings. Tax is calculated automatically on every booking and shown as a separate line item.
Rate Locking
When a rental is created, the current rates are locked onto the rental record. Future rate changes don't affect existing contracts.
